Terms & Conditions of Boarding
Open Times:
Note: All check ins/outs outside the below times must be a 15 minute time-slot agreed upon
at booking which will
attract an out of hours fee of $60
Mornings
• Monday to Saturday 8.30 am to 10.00 am
Afternoons
• Monday and Tuesday 4.30pm to 5.30 pm / Thursday 5.30pm to 6.30pm / Sunday 4.00pm to
5.00pm
Closed
• Christmas Eve day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day morning, New Years Day Note: Boxing
day open 5 – 5.30pm only
• Easter Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Easter Monday morning, Anzac Day Note: Easter
Monday open 5–5.30pm on
Please Note:
• Rates apply from day of arrival (and are charged per day)
• No daily fee if check out occurs prior to 10am (excluding Sunday)
• Current vaccination certificates must be emailed at booking. Vaccinations must have been
administered at least a
FULL 14 DAYS prior to check in
• Limited bathing available during winter months and all holiday periods
• Public holidays incur a $15 per day boarding surcharge.
Conditions of Acceptance of Dogs:
• Whilst every possible care and attention is given to each dog boarded, we cannot be held
responsible for injury, loss or death, either from illness or other cause
• All belongings are to be marked/labelled. Tiptree Kennels takes no responsibility for loss
or damage of your dog(s)’s personal items. The owner is to reimburse Tiptree should their dog(s)
damage/destroy our beds or property
• Tiptree Kennels accepts desexed dogs only for boarding, males under 12mths & females under
6mths excepted
• A well fitted collar and lead must accompany each dog in such condition it allows full and
secure control of the guest
• A veterinary surgeon will be consulted if Tiptree deems it necessary. Expenses to be paid
by the dog’s owner including travel to and from the appropriate vet surgery/emergency centre (if
transport is required) and any time spent at any consultation(s)
• Dogs are to be checked in/out during opening hours. Outside these hours a $60 fee will be
incurred. As reasonably possible, this should be negotiated at time of booking
• Please note that if you have multiple dogs and they do not share a kennel, you will be
charged individually and not receive the multiple dog discount
• In the event of any delay or date/time change, please notify us immediately as our gates
will be locked outside standard hours to allow exercise of guests. Then the gates can only be
opened by a staff member at an agreed time
• Full payment of booking required at time of booking or by date notified in booking recap
email
• All payments/deposits contain a $25 non-refundable cancellation fee
• Credit balances arising from early check out will be applied to your next booking (excludes
school holidays, public holiday weekends or evacuation resulting from our bushfire plan, where a
refund is not applicable)
• Tiptree Boarding Kennels (SA) reserves the right to respectfully refuse boarding or will
request collection of: aggressive, barking, or any dog that poses any risk or impacts the comfort
or safety to itself, other guests, and/or staff
• Along with current C5 vaccination, your dog(s) must be up to date with worming and flea
treatments. Any evidence of worms or fleas will result in immediate treatment at the owner’s cost
• You agree to the Tiptree Kennels Bushfire Plan (available on our website) and have
organised a person to evacuate your dog on catastrophic fire warning days
• Tiptree Kennels may from time to time use images of your dog(s) for marketing purposes in
social media, it’s website and other associated marketing material. Please advise by email if you
do not wish your dog(s) images to be used for marketing purposes
• Emergency medical contact must be an alternative contact to yourself/travelling partner and
based in Adelaide and be contactable throughout the boarding period. Tiptree Boarding Kennels (SA)
reserves the right, in consultation with a veterinarian surgeon, to act in your dog(s) best
interest should none of the aforementioned be contactable.
